Patzún huipils are distinct in style among the other Highland communities. These two panel huipils are typically made from a red plain weave ground cloth with thin warp stripes. The seams and designs are hand embroidered, not brocaded. Details
Part of our vintage collection, this ceremonial huipil is made from finely woven handspun cotton and features hand embroidered decorative seams through the center and on each side. Hand embroidered feather designs embellish the neck opening on each side. Some visible wear due to age. Avoid direct sunlight.
