Story

Backstrap looms have been used since ancient times to weave narrow strips of fabric. These strips are then hand sewn together to form a larger textile. Botanical dyes, in this case indigo, are used to dye the threads prior to weaving. 

Details

Part of our vintage collection, this hand woven indigo textile is finished with knotted fringe at both ends. Perfect as a throw or wrap.
