Tzutes are traditional Mayan utility cloths used for carrying food, wrapping babies, or for decoration during religious ceremonies. Each tzute is made from two strip woven panels joined together often by a colorful hand embroidered seam.

Part of our vintage collection, this tzute features a colorful hand embroidered zig zag seam that joins two strip woven panels. Perfect as a tablecloth or hanging as display.
