Tzutes are traditional Mayan utility cloths used for carrying food, wrapping babies, or for decoration during religious ceremonies. Each tzute is made from two strip woven panels joined together often by a colorful hand embroidered seam.

Part of our vintage collection, this ceremonial tzute features hand brocaded birds evenly spaced throughout. Perfect as a tablecloth or hanging as display.
